Decanter Centrifuge. The tubular separator is named after its tube-shape because its rotating drum has small diameter and long length.
The rotating sped of tubular separator is high, generally above 10000r/min. The tubular separator adopts flexible shaft. The bearing hangs on the rotating drum and the upper of the rotating drum drives. The amplitude damping device is placed at the lower of the rotating drum. So that the amplitude of the rotating drum is limited within allowable range to achieve stable and safe operation.
The tubular separator has the characteristics of simple structure and reliable operation. The diameter of the common rotating drum is 40-150mm. The ratio of the length to the diameter is 4-8. The separation factor can be up to 15000-65000. The tubular separator can be used for separating the materials which are difficult to be separated by common centrifuges. Among all decanter centrifuges, the separation factor of tubular separator is the highest and the separation effect is the best. The tubular separator is suitable for separating the emulsion and suspension in which the solid particle diameter is 0.1-100µ M, the solid-liquid two-phase density difference is greater than 10kg/m3 and the mass fraction of solid-phase is less than 1%. The amount of materials handling is 200-1200L/H.
The homemade tubular separator include GF-type and GQ-type, GF-type tubular separator is suitable for the emulsion separation. GQ type tubular separator is suitable for clarifying the suspension with the solid-phase content less than 1% especially suitable for separating solid-liquid separation with small solid mass fraction, large viscosity, fine particles and small solid mass fraction, large viscosity, fine particle and smaller solid-liquid density difference.
